REVIVE Series (Week 3) - The Ingredients for Revival (Prayer)

Key Scripture: Hosea 10:12 (NIV):

[12] Sow for yourselves righteousness and reap the fruit of loving devotion; break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you.

Revival: An awakening, a re-vitalisation, a return to a former glory."

Key Scripture: Psalm 80:18 (NIV)

[18] Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.

Prayer always precedes revival!

Conclusion

“No man is greater than his prayer life.

The pastor who is not praying is playing.

The people who are not praying are straying.

We have many organizers, but few agonizers; many players and payers, few prayers; many singers, few clingers; lots of pastors, few wrestlers; many fears, few tears; much fashion, little passion; many interferers, few intercessors; many writers, but few fighters.

Failing here, we fail everywhere.”

Leonard Ravenhill

Key Scripture: Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)

[6] And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
