The Bible will tell you all that you need to know in order to grow in your faith. God speaks through the Bible and as you read it, you will get to know Him better and learn what pleases Him. As you live out His word, you will grow strong and begin to see positive changes in your life.

Prayer is simply talking to God. It is for every moment of our lives, not just for good times or times of difficulty. We should pray to thank God for everything He has done in our lives. The Bible tells us to “pray continually” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). This doesn’t mean we should spend every minute of the day on our knees, but that we should have a prayerful attitude at all times—acknowledge our need for God, listen to Him and obey Him throughout the day. Prayer should be our first response not our last resort. We should start every day by giving it to God. We should also pray for others—even our enemies—as well as our leaders. When we pray, let's be encouraged that God hears and answers our prayers.

Good news is hard to keep to yourself! God wants you to share your newfound faith with others. You don’t have to wait until you’re an expert in the Bible to witness to others. You can share what you know—your own story of what Jesus has done for you.

You are not alone on this journey. You are now part of a family who have made the same decision as you. Church plays a vital role in your spiritual growth. Being in community with other Christians will keep you spiritually active and give you much needed encouragement and support.
