Discipleship is not a one-time decision, it is a lifelong journey of becoming more like Jesus. At Gateway we see this journey in six clear steps: discovering faith, following Jesus, getting baptised, belonging here, serving others, and beginning to lead. These steps give us a pathway to grow deeper in faith, to put down roots in God’s family, and to live out our faith in practical ways.

“And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him.” (Colossians 2:6–7)

Each step helps us take hold of this promise, growing stronger in Christ and guiding others to do the same.
